TITAN ITALIA Sirmac division manufactures ramp brakes, size 4" through 9.5" diameter, dry and wet type, to be specifically mounted on Agricultural and Earth Moving Vehicles. TITAN ITALIA Sirmac division brakes are under continuous improvement, supported by the most advanced methods of design, process and product development and by modern production equipment. The design and process F.M.E.A. (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) techniques, the Finite Elements Analysis (F.E.A.), the Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing (C.A.D. and C.A.M.), the S.P.C (Statistical Process Control) techniques are integral parts of the company's design, development and production process. A well equipped testing department, both for rig and vehicle tests, where the most up-to-date techniques are used for the collection and analysis of data, constantly supports the design process in developing new products.
Among the complete range of products, TITAN ITALIA Sirmac division has further strengthen its market position by the introduction of a new range of wedge ramp brakes, which have made a significant impact on tractors in the power range 80 to 260 HP. New brakes are under development, tests are being carried both on rigs and vehicles, to satisfy the ever increasing requirements of the market for the year 2000 and beyond.
 
Sirmac customers can count on the availability of total design and development service for their brake requirement. From the initial brake concept, when the brake performance is agreed, the customer is provided with engineering support not just for the brake design but also the total package including the layout of the brake housing assembly.
